THE BEST WAYS TO USE POOL NOODLES
One of the most common things found in any swimming pool are pool noodles. A pool noodle can simply be defined as a cylindrical shaped slice of polyethylene foam which can be used by learners to float in the swimming pool. It can either be hollow or block depending on the connector to be used in connecting the adjacent pieces. Beginners will find them quite useful in learning how to swim for the purposes of floating or self-rescue. The pool noodles come in a variety of sizes with the most common ranging between 2.5-3.5 inches in diameter.
The list of uses of pool noodles is quite long since they can be modified into different shapes and customized for specific purposes. Apart from being used as a floater for swimming, most children use it as a toy weapon to play as it can hardly cause any harm. Some people use them as decorators for lawns and other small projects while others simply modify them to act as edge protectors. Some even use them to prevent doors form latching by encasing their edges with a piece of pool noodle. The list of uses keeps increasing as people come up with better ideas on how to use this tool in their day to day lives.
Pool noodles may sometimes come with connectors which are used to join a chain of them together. There are two common types of connectors available in the market. One type is hollow and larger in diameter than the pool noodle while the other one is in form of a set and is usually screwed through the center of the noodle foam. The one with a larger diameter connects the pieces by encasing their ends together. The connectors can be used to come up with intricate shapes and designs depending on the number of connector parts available.
